Water as well as some of the plant extracts like aloe and shea butter help to hydrate the skin cells. Water is very important in rejuvenating a tissue because it helps to support cell division and the production of proteins responsible for firming up the skin. The moisture is locked in by the various plant and seed oils so that it does not leave the skin cells when exposed to warmer temperatures. The oils and plant extracts also contain vitamins nourish the skin cells and support their rejuvenation. Tocopheryl acetate and a ascorbyl phosphate are antioxidants which means they help to reduce the effect of environmental chemical damage on the skin.

Instructions

The only instructions that the manufacturer gives for this product is that it should be touched gently around the eye area in the morning and the evening. This is helpful information but they don’t say whether makeup or other products can be applied over this one.
