PM PILL

Black cohosh and rhizome extract- 20mg
L-Theanine – 50 mg
Hops Flower Extract – 100mg
Valerian Root Extract – 200 mg

The PM formula contains Black Cohosh to fight night sweats for more restful sleep, and L-Theanine for relaxation.

Bot the AM and PM formulations contain soy.

Instructions

Take the AM tablet in the morning and the PM tablet in the evening about 30 – 45 minutes before you go to sleep. The manufacturer notes that it may take four to five weeks for the full benefits to be felt and that to maintain the benefits you should keep taking the medication.

The suggested retail price for a pack of 60 tablets (a one-month supply) is $24.50. At the time we wrote this review you could also buy the same package on Amazon for the same price.

Possible Side Effects

The manufacturer warns that if you develop abdominal pain, dark urine or jaundice (which can be symptoms of liver trouble) discontinue use and consult your doctor. Black cohosh has been known to cause cramping and stomach upsets. As with most dietary supplements, the side effects may vary on the individual. Pregnant and nursing women should not use this product nor should anyone with a liver disorder.

There is no apparent guarantee as we were unable to find a return or refund policy. This is obviously not ideal from a customer perspective raising questions about the manufacturer’s confidence in the quality and effectiveness of the supplement.

AM/PM Menopause Formula has potential to be a helpful product for women suffering with symptoms of menopause. It is made of natural ingredients and does not contain hormones. Further, the company has GMP certification which should create confidence regarding the purity of the ingredients. However, this is a product whose real effects on curbing the menopausal symptoms are not substantiated. While it has a majority of positive ratings from Amazon customers, some women dislike the product as it was not effective for them and warn others not to purchase it. Some found that the undesirable effects like cramps, stomach upsets and allergic reactions were challenging to cope with.
